The gang was throwing a birthday party for Ayeka.
Washu produced a small gift-wrapped box, but she handed the gift to Ryoko instead. "Would you be a dear, and open this for Ayeka?"
Ryoko shrugged. "Whatever." She opened Ayeka's gift-- and disappeared into it, in an extra-dimensional way.
Tenchi gasped. "Washu!! What have you done!?"
Washu waved him down. "Ryoko's fine. But she'll be trapped in an extra-dimensional space for twenty-four hours."
Ayeka blinked. "But-- why?--"
Washu explained. "My gift to you is twenty-four hours without Ryoko."
A tearfully-happy Ayeka glomped Washu. "Thank you!! It's the bestest present ever!!"
