"Choose one?"
Bernice let out a long-suffering sigh, picked a card, and returned it. The Doctor shuffled, cut with a flourish and held up the card.
Benny tried hard not to smirk. "Not even close." He tried again. And again. The same card both times. She shook her head.
He shuffled the cards once more, cut the deck at random and turned it over.
"That's still not my card."
He looked down at the card.
Ace of Hearts.
He clapped the deck back together.
"Yes, well... " he cleared his throat and stuffed the cards into one of his pockets.
