I had really wanted to make it all the way to 5,000 today, but it was an odd day. I woke up in the middle of the night and just *had* to type, but that left me rather tired for the rest of the day. I'm still writing in short-story style instead of stretching things out and using more dialog. I need to break out of this soon or I will run out of story way before I run out of words. I've managed to build a little anticipation, and the love interests should be meeting each other in the next scene!
I accidentally (because I wasn't paying proper attention to the label) splurged a little and bought pork chops the other day, and they were quite a treat for supper tonight. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for them in the circulars so I can get them on purpose once a month or something when the price goes down a bit.
