A thought about writing by hand vs typing
Because I love to experiment and compare data:
10-minute free-type: 400 words
10-minute free-write: 300 words
(plus, this took 6 minutes to type up)
In past years, I've taken notebooks with me to work and stuff when I won't have a lot of laptop time that day, but looking at it this way, I don't think I'm actually getting much out of it that way.
I don't know. I mean, the change of scenery was good, and my poor laptop is not in great shape at the moment. I don't want to discount the flashes of inspiration that might happen while I'm away from my computer, but on the other hand, my brain might appreciate the break...
