Bye, Bart....I'll miss you.

I bid my last farewell to my truck today. We sold him to the car place for a measly 300 bucks. We didn't have the $4000 it would have taken to fix it, so they bought it from us and they're going to fix it and use it for whatever. That truck's been pretty good to me over the years, but over the last couple of years, it was in and out of the shop a lot, to the point that he earned the name Bart, which stands for "Busted-ass Redneck Truck." You can all thank Liv for coming up with that name. In her defense, she was right..lol I'll miss that truck, though. It was a great truck for me, and it was a way for me to hang on to my grandfather, who bought the truck for me about a year before he died. The anniversary of his death was just the other day -- six years. I can't even believe that. So weird. So yeah, I'm kinda bummed today.

In other news, I AM excited about the fact that apparently, next weekend Liv and I are gonna get together with an old friend of mine from high school that I haven't seen in 14 years. This is gonna be SO COOL!!! And now that we got Liv's car fixed and are borrowing a truck from a friend of ours at church, I know I have a vehicle that will actually GET US THERE! hehehehehe.....

I'm still bummed, though. I miss my truck.
