Summary: It wasn't the welcome home he was expecting
It had been nearly a month since he was last in Hawaii. The longest he’d been away since coming back for good.
When he called Danny, he wasn’t expecting help to be readily available for him. He was expecting a lecture, yelling, possibly threatening of bodily harm. He wasn’t expecting we miss you.
‘Ohana, brah,’ Chin had said. ‘Whatever you need, you know we’re there for you.’
With that, their plan was created and he was preparing to come home. It wouldn’t be smooth sailing, be he’d have home turf advantage and he’d have his backup. He’d have his Ohana.
