{DRABBLE} 'Just a Kiss' and 'Missed Signals'
I've never done a strict 100 word drabble, or felt confident enough to tackle any shows I like (my fics have always been band/musician related, AU or originals) but...I've been in this creative mood or something (as evident in all the graphics I've been doing, right? LOL) and I wrote 2 AU H50 pieces.
They're Danny/Kono fics (my OTP for the show) and they were partly inspired by this picture/scene:
Just a Kiss (AU - Danny/Kono)
The kiss by the pool wasn’t supposed to happen that night.
They were just friends. He was her date. A device to cause jealousy in an old flame.
Did it work? He didn’t know. He never saw this “old flame”. She must have seen him, that night by the pool.
One minute he was telling her a story and the next her arms were around his body and her lips touching his. Just as quickly as they were there, they were gone.
He was dazed. She could see it.
“It was just a kiss, brah,” she said with a smirk.

Missed Signals (AU - Danny/Kono) [Kono’s POV to Just a Kiss]
She didn't get why he was still talking. They were alone by the pool. She’d been giving him the “kiss me” signals all night.
Even though she heard it before, she pretended to be interested in the story.
He paused. Did he ask her a question? Was he finished with the story?
She didn't know but she made her move anyway.
With arms wrapped around him, she pressed her lips to his and pulled away.
He was dazed, but it stopped him from talking.
“It was just a kiss, brah,” she said with a smirk.
She was dazed too, though
