I have GOT to get back into the habit of writing regularly! I have once again neglected this journal for longer than I intended, and I really do want to get back into the habit of just WRITING, whether it be a random journal update or a Serious Work of Fiction. My super-busy college days are nearly over (NEVER thought I was going to be able to say that!), and I will be wanting to try to seriously write for publication. I've been cooking up an idea for a YA story, and I just need to go back to doing what I've always loved and wanted to do.
nearly a month after being officially engaged, and wedding planning is in full force! I have my bridesmaids chosen: Tara and Lauren (friends since middle school), Ashley (formerly engaged to my stepbrother, but now one of my best friends), Ashley (Brett's sister), and Brittany (cousin). Colors are set (navy, silver, and white), and right now we are contemplating reception venues, our top choices being the 12th floor ballroom at the Clarion (top floor, floor-to-ceiling windows, BEAUTIFUL view!) or Stony Creek Inn (cozy hunting lodge/woodsy kind of theme, and probably less expensive).
Brett keeps joking that at this rate, the wedding will be planned by next month. In all honesty, it probably COULD be, if we had the money to secure everything that soon.
Nothing much else going on...I promise I'll write again soon!
