Food for thought...or just food!

Hi folks

Have finally got the menus from the hotel for you to look at. I have tried to make sure that everyone's needs have been taken into consideration. I shall be making the official booking for the Saturday night buffet dinner tomorrow and it will be for all of us unless I am told otherwise (sueworld2003 your meal is being catered separately). You're very welcome, Sue. No problem once we all understood each other. *g*

Thank you. So long as they're plain unseasoned boiled up veg I should be fine. :)

Does this mean my rip to Sainsburys is unnecessary?

No sadly I'm still going to need you to do that If you don't mind. A couple of bags of baby carrots and some cauliflower would be very welcome as I have to eat it every few hours to help keep my pain levels down a notch.

Also have you got a longish electrical extension cord I could borrow when we're there?

How much is 'some'? Two, three?

I have lots of extension leads, that won't be a problem.

I'm really not sure. I mean when at home I buy Sainsburys own brand frozen baby carrots and cauliflower (£1.00 a bag) and get through a bag and a half of each a day.

There's a Sainsbury's "Express" ten minute's walk from the hotel, so it would be easy to pick up extras if needed. Or I could summon a minion from my family to shop and deliver...

I'll buy two. We can always go and find a supermarket if we need to.

Bear in mind I have never bought a cauliflower in my life. :)

I think in the interest of making sure nothing goes wrong it would be best if you told the chef exactly how you need it prepared. So we'll sort that out when we're there. Better safe than sorry! *g*

Yes, that sounds like a good idea, although I imagine that you can' go wrong with just plain boiled veg. *g* *crosses fingers*

I've just had through the charge for your meal, Sue, at £4.95. I hope this is OK as they initially wanted £7.95 and I was less than enthusiastic - read bloody incredulous! - and asked them to double check.

I can't cook for toffee so am sure I could easily cock up veggies! *g*
