NYC will never be the same...

If I could give a piece of advice to anyone in the world, it would be to steer clear of high schoolers! What in world made me agree to take a group of kids from the bayou all the way to New York City? As Karen can probably tell you, I was a cynical mess for most of the trip. I have never been happier to leave NYC.

I'm glad everyone had a great time. I would kill my kid if I sent them to NYC and found out they had spent their time in the hotel room! Geesh!

Oh, I'm dying to know how J reacted when y'all told her she was going!

Well, considering that both of my kids are in high school, it's a bit difficult for me to steer clear of them. *grin* But I'm sure, deep down, the kids you took to NYC all had a great time and truly appreciated being there. Everyone's idea of fun is different, I guess.

Just remember the ones who were appreciative. You couldn't force them to do the better stuff...even though you wanted to. *grin*

You know, I did see a big group from Louisiana last week! I wonder if it was them?

LOL I *LOVE* that you wrote about your trip! I was wondering how it was going and if you were having fun. So glad it was worthwhile (though hectic - clearly)

I can't believe they sat in the room and played cards. *sigh* Youth. ~g~
