"Yoogeun-ah~! Yoogeun-ah come here, sweety~"
Her voice was soft and calm, her smile daunting.
Her partially dyed hair fell perfectly on the side of her head and curved beautifully calling attention to those soft and fragile looking shoulders: her slender arms outstretched to catch the running infant, and both their cute giggles when they reach each other...
...left Minho breathless. Every. Single. Time
"Come to Noona" She giggled "You like, Noona, right Yoogeun?"
"De" His baby voice was sort of slurred even though he only pronounced one syllable, his eyes adverted to the piece of candy his Noona had given him.
"You like candy, Right?" the boy nodded struggling with the wrapping paper adorably; Minho felt fear for a second, What if Yoogeun fell because he was uncomfortably positioned?
The tall brunette took a step towards them in vain, Isabelle had already (quite effortlessly) repositioned the baby in her arms and he was sitting on her hip.
"Woah, Noona's good with Kids!" Taemin was the first to approach her with a smile, his childlike eyes matched the gleam on Yoogeun's who asked to be let go. Taemin held him quickly, cooing him caringly and teasing him lightly over his candy making both the Child and the Girl smile.
"And you SHINee Appas are bad Appas! What if you had lost the child?" her toned was reprimending, guilt reflected on overyone's face
" We saw you, though." Defended Jonghyun-Hyung " I heard you call him and I saw him run in your direction. So he didn't escape us, we allowed him to go to you"
Minho nodded along with Onew even though he knew that was a lie, on Minho's part anyways; he hadn't seen her approach until she called Yoogeun.
"I'll give you the benefit of the doubt" she smiled that white smile that left Minho breathless.
"You should trust us more, Izz-ah" her name left his lips like a whispered and sounded like a poem to him.
She turned to Yoogeun "Should I trust them, Yoogeun?" the baby shook his head and everyone laughed heartedly, even Minho.
"This kid... we're having trouble figuring if he likes us, or not"
"Well, I've been watching the show. You all are amazingly appas, I'm sure he likes you" he smile was directed at Minho and his breath hitched, but his expression remained the same. "Specially Minho-ssi and Key-ssi" this time she winked making Yoogeun smile one last time before turning around to grab someone's hand affeccionately and turning to leave.
And Minho's heart broke.
Because he lost her, before he could even reach her.
