I've actually been kind of, sort of reading the news lately (you KNOW I'm at the end of my bored-at-work rope when THAT starts happening) and
this article struck me in light of the recent ridiculousness of putting a train on our 5$ bill (or was it the 10$ bill?). Yes, true, the train is a huge part of our history and national identity in that: laying and building the cross Canada railway. But our "train" service now is sort of a joke and certainly something avoided by many, unaffordable by others. So... why is it on our currency? :\ And when is it going to get better!
