OTP: Craig Ferguson and Sophia Bush
Here is another spam post again! I was researching interview videos over YT of the stunning Sophia Bush, particularly the one where she was a guest in The Late Late show with Craig Ferguson for this year. And it was just an utter delight! Not only do I love Sophia to the bone but I got so giddy that she was also quite entertaining with Craig. I mean, gawd, the wackiness of the whole interview is just lulz and shit! Whoever uploaded such a great quality video is my hero at that but it took 2 hours to fully download this in YouTube downloader. So worth it though!! I can't resist so I just went ahead and picked my favorite exchanges with screencaps.
"The Red Wrapper"
[In which Craig makes comments regarding the clip from Bush's show One Tree Hill where her character Brooke presents herself to her boyfriend wearing only a red wrapping ribbon around her breasts]
CF: Hi, Sophia. You look fantastic! You could've worn your wrapper if you wanted, though.
SB: I,uh, kindda, wanted to die inside a little.
CF: Why?
SB: That! I don't know. I didn't want to shoot it. I didn't want you to air it! But it's fine. It's okay.
CF: No! That's my favorite part--I never miss an episode of One Tree Hill, as you know. [although he commented earlier to the audience why he hasn't seen the show yet]
SB: Really? That's just because you love me.
CF: I do love you! And I'm astonished that you're doing that kind of stuff in the CW network with the---does the ribbon come off later in that scene?
[Sophia displays her gorgeous smile] : You have to watch and find out.
CF: I will. I will watch to find out.
"Pick your face"
SB: I think I might have been a gay man in the past life.
CF: You may as well be, I mean, look at this ring!
SB: It's very fancy, isn't it?
CF: Yeah, that's---do you have trouble picking things wearing that?
SB: No, it bends!
CF: It does? 'cuz I'm a big picker. I can never wear rings like that. I'd like to get in places and get them out.
SB: Like, picker, 'pick your face' or like..?
CF: Yeah, sure, like 'pick my face'
SB: --or other people?
CF: [makes a funny voice] Pick my face? If I could pick my face, would I pick this one? No!
"Concealed weapons and bags"
SB: Luckily, the day I have to be here, I shot a new pilot so I was getting scared that I was losing--
CF: You shot a pilot?
SB: I did [pauses and laughs] No!
[Jeff the robot makes a noise]
CF: Yeah, you're right, Jeff!
SB: [at Jeff] Not like that! No, not with my concealed weapon.
CF: Right.
SB: I did not shoot a pilot; I filmed a new pilot for televsion.
CF: A pilot episode! For One Tree Hill? 'cuz I love that show! [audience laughs]
SB: I do too!

CF: You very controlled. Well, but you're in control because you got all the guns and stuff.
SB: Well, yeah. And being kind of OCD is having it together.
CF: I like that about you because I don't want my people who got concealed weapon licenses to be flamboyant. I want them to be responsible and a little bit OCD, maybe. And you are like that?
SB: Yes. And a little neurotic.
CF: Can you conceal a weapon in this? [gestures at her tight black dress] I mean...
SB: Not in this outfit.
CF: Yeah, I was gonna say "is there a small derringer in there or something?"
SB: I have it in a bag. You know, us ladies would like to carry it around in a great handbag.
CF: I sometimes carry a gun in my bag.
SB: Really? I hear you like people handling your bags as well. That's what you said earlier. [touches his thigh] Maybe that's how I should--
CF: [grins] What man doesn't though?
"Hello boobies!"
CF: Sorry, we have to go.
SB: Oh, that's sad.
CF: That's why I was doing this [waving hand gestures]
SB: Oh that's the sign?
CF: Yeah. I wasn't waving at your boobies.
SB: Oh, you're not going [makes same hand gestures] Hello!
CF: Yeah [waves hands again] Hello boobies! It'd be great if they waved back though. That would be awesome.
SB: I don't know how to but---[attempts by flaunting chest a bit]
CF: Well hey! Thanks for trying. That was awesome.
SB: You know. I could try. I'll come up with something better later.
They did the waving again and Sophia waves at his crotch!
They were so darn cute, having fun like that! It was just disappointing that it was only ten minutes!
This was the latest (2010). She was also in the show twice last year. Explains why they already have a stable tandem going on. I'm still watching the video of it (where they first talked about her concealed weapons and how Craig was making freak-out faces) and Sophia is very approachable so it's not a surprise to me that Craig is pleased to interview her. They're both so easy on the eyes and damn witty.
