I have just come back from a short break. I went to Yorkshire for a few days, where I coincided with my brother, who I hadn't seen for a while. I also spent a day in Leeds, where, amongst other things, you can buy several pairs of socks for £2. Then, I went to Cumbria for a few days, where I stayed at a centre of early Quakerism. It has a picturesque garden and wild flower meadow, which I was involved in cultivating. I also went on a trip to a sculpture park. This has, amongst other exhibits, some which can be interacted with, including a large wooden musical instrument. On returning to Edinburgh, besides doing housework, I did a conservation task amongst some ponds in Vogrie Park near Dalkeith.
