Day off!
Today was my first day away from the hospital since January 3. Nothing spectacular -- I did a writeup and studied for the shelf -- but going down to Lincoln Center was a good idea. Coffeeshop studying is fun, when you have the right company. Should do this more often.
Back on the job tomorrow (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day? Whassat?), but I get next Saturday off as well. Crazy talk! Then it's a long, unrelenting stretch until the shelf on February 5, so I should enjoy it while I can.
Currently reading: Special Topics in Calamity Physics, by Marisha Pessl. Haven't decided if I like it yet. Stay tuned.
