Last Wednesday was one of the most enjoyable days of my summer.
I got up and went to work, where I found out I'd actually have more stories to write this summer. Things had been slowing down, so I was afraid I'd be doomed to typing things into the system for the rest of my days. Alas, I will once again reign as the star reviewer of the Mon Valley.
At around 1:15, Rachel came to pick me up. I led her on a tour of the building (which is actually really neat) before we headed to her house to meet with Katie (who I hadn't seen for two months!). We went to the zoo, and Katie decided to remind us every five minutes that she hadn't been there since second grade. As one might expect, it was a very amusing trip.
Afterword, we decided to dine at Gullifty's, where we met up with Mike. Dinner was great, especially since our waiter definitely did not want us at his table. For once, I wasn't even misbehaving. Our next stop was the Cold Stone Creamery, where I had some delicious Peanut Butter Cup Perfection. Let me tell you, the name doesn't lie. The Mike went home, because he claimed he would be bored with us. It is impossible for things to be boring when Katie, Rachel, and I are involved, but oh well. His loss, I suppose.
So, after getting three hours of sleep, then being up for 21, I decided that bed would be the best thing after my exciting day.
Thanks girls (and Mike) for a great time. Can't wait for all the movie nights, etc. at school! :)
