jes showed up randomly in boulder this morning to hang out with me. how cool is that. a really great surprise. i really wish i was going with them to seattle, sometimes i really wonder what i'm thinking not going. oh well. hopefully there will be more trips. i will make some, if nothing else.
i hung out with biggest brother jamie this weekend, like last, and that was really great. we went skiing, some of the best skiing of my life, it was gorgeous.
we went to a nightclub with a bunch of his friends, club vinyl, and that was pretty sweet. i drank a lot of alcohol at jamie's before i went, so dancing wasn't a problem. that place is the epitomy (sp?) of hip, i was amazed. even the vending machine was lit up with neon green lights. across the street from all that hipness is an arbys. hahahaha. the lighsticks people swing around scream "i am so fucking hip!" and the dancing screams "im so drunk!" (my own included). there were two dj's- tommy sunshine and junior sanchez. they were good, as far as i could tell. if anyone in the place was really hip it was them. the nightclub scene is wierd. i dont know. i had a great time, though. i like denver a lot. i love wandering around down there and just checking shit out. i guess i love doing that anywhere. wanderings my specialty. usually i get lost, but the way that i see it is that if you're in the city you dont need a sense of direction-- you can just ask someone. that's what society's all about- we all rely on everyone else a whole lot.
I WISH I WAS GOING TO SEATTLE. but i guess i do need to stay here. i need to be more fearless, or some shit. i dont know. but i should have gone with.
