i love friends
last night
i had a very unusual dream
it was dark
4 of my friends and i were in a car
sliding down a hill
steering wheel stuck
chris and i went in the back seat
opposite ends
half of our bodies sticking out of our windows
leaning and adding weight to either sides in hopes of navigating the car
and dodging vehicles ahead of us
everyone was pretty calm about the situation
i just remembered smiling the whole time doing this
so silly
every machinery was breaking down
some force pulling their energies away
the city transformed into a jungle
it was dangerous
everyone was split from their families and friends
the goal was to try and find everyone you loved
the risk was your life
and theirs
warriors dominate and slaughter people who crossed their boundaries
this war didn't make sense
i felt like a lab rat
or some character from a video game
someone is testing me
many loved ones killed
but no one cried
everyone was too angry
everyone was too weak
it was expected
nothing but hopelessness
my brother and i
survived from many attacks
we became well known
there was this one scene where we were hiding in a swamp
naked
and waiting
when the time was right
we ambushed the enemies
they found this amusing
and underestimated the two of us
they came after us
mud covering our bodies
made me feel like a monster
a new one
something far worst than they were
something more powerful
i knew he felt the same
the two of us
synchronized
and feeding off each others energy
we became the leaders
i woke up with one of my friends arms around me
saying "bones smells like popcorn and cigarettes! it's actually really cute!"
i was so confused
i didn't know that could be cute
hah
i can't figure out what actually happened and what didn't last night
it feels so surreal
i just know that i was close to my friends the whole night
so much laughter everywhere
