His philosophical nature extends as far as sushi. Meat? No need. Alcohol? Just muddles the senses. Caffeine? In minuscule amounts with his tea. Sugar? On rare occasions, and never to excess. Presented with raw fish on bullets of rice and occasionally wrapped in seaweed, however, and Anthony's conscientious eschewing of earthly goods disappears as it is replaced by unbridled enthusiasm for gustatory delights.
It's in the moments that he has a piece of maki dripping with soy sauce and wasabi grasped firmly between chopsticks, his eyes shining, and a childlike grin on his face that I love him the most.
