Title: Morning Has Broken

Notes: for the kradam_kiss fest using jerakeen’s prompt: palm, neck or wrist kisses. I hope I do this justice!
Other Notes: The title is from a song I used to dance to in church. Seemed fitting.
Summary: It’s about kisses… (I truly can’t come up with one today. *face palm*)

MORNING HAS BROKEN

Kris stands on the balcony in a thick terry-cloth robe, watching as the sun rises over the clear blue ocean. Then warm, soft lips are pressing against the pulse in his neck, making his heart skip a beat.
“Good morning, Husband,” Adam murmurs against Kris’ ear, wrapping his arms around the younger man’s waist.

Kris smiles to himself, leaning back against Adam’s chest. “No, baby, it’s not a ‘good’ morning,” he says.

“If it’s not a good morning, than what is it?” Adam asks.

Kris turns around in his partner’s arms, a wide grin splitting his face. “It’s a great morning.” He reaches up to stroke Adam’s cheek. “It always is when I wake up to you.”

Adam’s eyes gloss over with tears. He turns his lips towards the hand resting against the side of his face and kisses the palm. “I love married life,” he whispers, running a hand through his husband’s hair.

“And I love you,” Kris replies, pulling Adam’s hand to his mouth and kissing each fingertip individually.

Adam sighs as he pulls Kris to his chest. “You’re wrong,” he murmurs into the shorter man‘s hair. “It’s a perfect morning.”
