another one about camp
okay so I forgot to mention that we now own a digital camera and i need to steal it from wherever my dad hid it in his car so i post pictures i wanna be a cam whore so bad.
today was better than yesterday i don't wanna go into details because it might confuse you and bore you but there are endless bus porblems and to make a long story short i am covered in paint from head to toe
yea so while the kids were doing their crafts (there are two a day each after our swims)
ava (the unit head) had me touch up these big mats of canvas that the kids were painted for floor mats of some kind. some of the kids didn't even know what canvas was until recently (and they're at art camp why?) so i had to go back over each with a fresh coat they varied in color so each time i did a new one i had to switch paint. i was able to wash the paint off my legs and some came off in the pool. i was also sent on a wild goose chase for a watch and i visted the nurse's four times today (same as yesterday) with three different kids. they have me running all over camp but that's the job at least i'm getting my exercise. i invented rollercising today with the bucket of paint, the roller and the canvas... :-P
the bus rides been getting shortes since the bus driver and i have been both getting used to the route... i'm a bus counselor... so they're a set way of getting to camp. my stop is first and then there are a million others the camp has set times with it too so we know if we're on time of late to get to camp and certain stops. in the afternoon the route is the same, so the kids who get dropped off last (and are also picked up last hence less time on the bus in the morning) complain. we tried going the oposite way with the kids who go last first but then the first kids complain. i can't please everyone!
they're more entailed... call me to talkm or make plans i'll be free this weekend. i think im getting my wisom teeth removed next week.
