Writer's Block: Lights Out
The longest I've gone without power is five days and it wasnt that bad. Forget electricity you can live without it just fine - what you cant live without is running water. There was a water shortage when we lived in Mombasa for over two months and our tank ran dry and we had to fill up jerry cans from hotels (luckily my parents had connections), you have not suffered until you have had go fill a toilet with water before flushing....or designate toilets for specific functions and only flush every five times. *ugh*
