Yep. You read Me On My Way to You. I love that one, even if it does make me cry. Thank you. I'm glad it works for other people, too.

I couldn't begin to say what it was about Kara that made me fall in love with her, but what I love about writing her is definitely her complexity - I can write her so many different ways, and it's all just a tiny bit of her character.

Well, if Dean Winchester likes my smut, I have won the internet. :D

I actually think that everyone should learn to write smut. It's the prefect encapsulation of rise and fall of a story.

I'm lucky, I guess, that I like writing it. It makes a lot of people uncomfortable to write it. It makes me uncomfortable to try to write purely m/m smut. I just don't get it, so it all comes out stilted or unrealistic. Ugh. We all have our things, the good ones and the bad ones. :/

I hadn't really thought of it that way, but it is, isn't it? The build-up, the conflict, the resolution, the aftermath, it's kind of all there in a sexual encounter, even if there's no actual sex involved.

I also think it's a really good lesson in the pitfalls of too much upfront exposition and pacing.
