And I love the ending... Getting Will to play hooky by chasing after them (to chew them out, sure, but he still could simply wait) is a riot.

There are a few minor issues this gun nut would like to point out. Sorry!

"Burnt out car shells" can be a risky support for targets. There's a risk of ricochets that could go god knows where. (Sadly, there are plenty of gun nuts that would do it anyway.) The "skin" of the car wouldn't be much of a risk, but both the frame and the engine block could majorly twist a bullet's trajectory.

Stance: "Both arms close to you" is close, but not quite. At least for me, there are differences of opinion. I usually cock about 45 degrees and brace my left upper arm on my chest while extending my right arm almost completely. The straight arm makes the aim more naturally accurate where bending it to keep it in close would naturally throw the aim upward and to the left. Keep the left hand cradling the "heel" of the right hand (under the grip) to act as a brace. ( http://www.lindsayfincher.com/gallery/d/12546-1/shooting_glock_lindsay_5.jpg provides a good example. She's even using the same pistol I do.)

I did! It was fun, especially the bit where Alan is teasing Grell with the whole "you should be round the bend" bit.

As for the gun bits, most people wouldn't know those details, so it's not a biggy. I'm just anal. *laughs*

And I do love writing these two xD. They have such a bizarre friendship. They both rat the other one out to William like a pair of children running to mummy - and then sometimes they gang up on him, poor thing, which is worse.

... I need to write something with rookie training. Poor Eric, he really has no idea what a little hellcat Alan is.
