This is just a curiosity check to see how many people on my friend's list are still out there. LJ becomes more and more dead every year and it's kind of sad to see since it used to be such an awesome place. It still is, but it has changed a lot

It's been dead for a while... pretty much used to that though. Yeah people are putting scans on tumblr instead of LJ. And I'm assuming people have just moved on and found other fandoms... or stopped writing fanfiction entirely. The coms I follow vary. Sometimes there are updates and sometimes not

Me too. I miss the days with lots of updates... lots of new fics to read. Now I'm lucky if a new fic that I actually want to read comes up on my friend's list. I'd like to think that things will change but I seriously doubt it

I really hope it will change, because I think tumbler is so messy, no source just posting without words or annything, without meaning at all ...I hate it

Ugh I know what you mean. Tumblr is handy for finding pictures, but pretty useless for finding information. Sometimes there is a source but people usually don't bother. Then it's impossible/overly difficult to have a conversation on tumblr... I really prefer LJ so much more

I too wholeheartedly miss the heyday of livejournal. I think it still serves a purpose--where else can I blather on at length? I wish more people updated, though, because my flist is nearly dried up.

I really miss it when it was most active. I only came here in 09 so I don't know what it was like before, but I just see how there are fewer and fewer posts. Yeah people still use it of course. I don't know where else I would put my fics. Yeah... well once I get caught up with editing I'll have more to post

I started my yakuza fic already, as well as a sequel to Scattered Petals. They're all over at my writing comm, drunkonreality. I have the second chapter for the yakuza fic, 893 Street Lights, almost done.
