R.I.P. Tama

Tama, my sweet snuggle boy who always loved to curl up in a nice warm lap died around 12:30 last night. He was lying next to mom in bed and Lena, our other cat, came in and was making this super weird growling meow. I went in to investigate and she had her front paws up on the bed like she was trying to see what was happening. Tama seemed fine, a ( Read more... )

Sorry to hear about your cat. I know how you feel I lost two of my beloved cats Naota and Gigi. My Naota caught feline aids and was suffering a lot and the doctor told me that the best things to do was to put him to sleep. It was the saddess thing for me. I also lost Gigi two summers ago but she died of old age. It's always hard to loose a pet that has been so close to the family.

Oh that's horrible :( Poor kitty. It's so hard when your pets are sick and you know it's better to let them go... At least Gigi died merely of old age rather than a disease

Omg I'm so sorry for your loss!
Losing a fur baby is one of the worst things ever. I lost one that was 17 years old. Had him since I was 4. Had to put him down when my kid was 6 months old. He was super sick, though. Poor thing.
Hopefully Tama didn't suffer much, if at all. Stay strong. The pain will ease over time. <3

Thank you. That's so sad... poor kitty. It was best to let him go at that point though. I'm sure he had a long and happy life with you at least :)

I don't think he suffered at all since he'd been fine all day. I hate how sudden it was but I'd rather he go out through something like that rather than being in pain

Yes it's best to keep those types of thoughts. Minimal pain, but over all, he had a happy life filled with love <3
