“Unrequited love is the most powerful force in the world.” The tall male in the front of the classroom stated, flawlessly writing on the white board before him. The red marker screeching loudly against the bare white wall as the teacher of the classroom dropped his glasses onto to his chest as they dangled from the string around his neck.

Briefly he stopped, turning around to face the students that were attentively copying down the statement.

“This is because the yearning for that love to be united is supported by others who can detect the strong emotion.” He paused, waiting for the sound of scratching ink paper to surcease.

“This is a both past and modern philosophy used in writing literature.” He finished as he walked up to his desk capping his marker. He sat down on to the uncomfortable wooden seat, waiting for the obnoxious siren of recess to screech.

“Don’t forget the due date of this assignment. I want it on my desk before the beginning of class!” He firmly barked.

The bell rang loudly as it could barely echo the halls of the classroom, swallowed from rustling and hustling of the students and their belongings.

Gokudera smiled, leaning back on his chair as he placed his glasses lightly on to the bridge of his nose.

“You always teach this each year, and yet I never get bored…” A petite brunette approached the professor.

Green eyes widened slightly from shock, “Sawada-san… I thought you had extra papers to grade?”

“Tsuna, Gokudera-kun, please… ‘Sawada-san’ is too formal!” he smiled as his sat on the edge of the oak finish table.

“I finished my grading so I figured I could sneak into one of your lectures.” Tsuna spoke happily as he scooted closer to the silver haired male.

“So why do you always speak of such a depressing topic, unrequited love is painful…”  amber eyes fading slightly as the owner leaned toward the anxious male. The seated professor coughed nervously as he backed away slowly.

“Because… the students need to understand that not all love stories end in a happily ever after, especially in real life… ” Gokudera pushed his chair out, grabbing the white board eraser as he turned to face the red writing.

“Besides, it’s a subject I know the best…” He mumbled lightly, hoping the other male could not hear his statement.

He placed the eraser onto the silver tray before even beginning as he swerved around to face the beautiful male, and was greeted to a retreating bow.

“I’m very sorry… ” Tsuna spoke his words softly as he backed out of the room.

Gokudera sighed, racking a ivory palm into his twighlighted colored hair.

Another opportunity, passed…
