Hello everyone!

Boy, have we been quiet lately.  Hopefully you're all doing well.  I've seen a lot of gripping about school and tests in past posts, so here's to hoping everyone's starting to relax a bit :).  It's almost summer.  You guys can do it!

I did a few trail run pieces but it's actually really hard to find characters to really dislike eachother constantly. I was thinking of Minato and Madara but I didn't see Minato as really hating him as such but rather more determined to stop him...

Hmm, that's funny because I could think of multiple characters that could at on each other's nerves, or at least scenarios for them to work. Perhaps it was how the assignment was phrased. I can see where it would be hard to pick characters who explicitly hate each other (it is a strong word, after all) though.

Yeah I think that might of been it or rather it's always seems to be more one sided and everyone had different interpretations of the characters that hate eachother.

As for the next assignment I would enjoy getting to grips with using jutsu or making effect battle sequences because I really struggle with that!

I could use some work with that, too! We'll definitely be doing an assignment based on that in the future, if not next week's!

I've been throwing around ideas for an assignment:

POV exercise: journal entry; 500-1000 words
POV exercise: lost in an urban environment (city, train station, etc.); 500-1000 words
characterization exercise: one character as an employer dealing with second character, who is being a difficult customer; 500-1000 words
general exercise: canon fighting/battle/action scenes between one character and another; 500-1000 words, where at least 500 words is devoted to the fighting/battle/action and not unnecessary surveying/dialogue/etc.
general exercise:canon snooping/spying scenes of one character on the second, and the second being aware of the first character's movements and presence; 500-1000 words

All fabulous exercises. I'd definitely want to take a stab at writing some action scenes, but perhaps we should stick with another POV exercise? The journal entry one could be fun :).

Also, do you think you could cross-post these to the mod community? It'd be a helpful reference for picking future exercises!

Sorry about the late post ;--; I finally got my week 3 exercise up, yay! School's been really difficult these past few weeks, and I have a little less than two weeks left, so things will be better from there on out, and finding time to post will thankfully be easier. :')

Yay~! Honestly, I was expecting any more entries for week 3 to trickle in :-p.

Ugh, I know, what a tough and busy time of year right now! Soon we'll all be able to relax though :).

I like the new timeline. I had been meaning to participate in previous weeks, but I kept on hitting the deadline long before I finished.

For assignment suggestions, I'm pretty weak at action and dialogue scenes, so something for either would be helpful.
