To everyone who heard my call Sunday, rest assured that I am fine. However, be aware that the man name--

[Engie, Ellis, Margot, Becca, Lorna, and now OLIVIER? Scout is absolutely furious about all these recent dronings. The scary part is, this exact same thing happened to Taiwan - droned right in the middle of a phone conversation.]

NO! No! ...Goddamnit....

[Hughes is just watching the scene with a curious expression. THIS IS A GOOD WAY TO LEARN A FRIEND HAS BEEN DRONED, mun thinks. So he'll wait until you notice him, with that look on his face.]

Yes! WITH LESS HTML FAIL THIS TIME. freakinblur June 23 2010, 02:58:04 UTC
[Things Scout likes: his bat, beating things/people up, combining these two. Currently a mailbox is being assailed. It's totally Russia's.

He stops when he notices he's being watched, seeing Hughes standing nearby.]

...I fucking hate this town.

It was me! *I* ruined your html! Mwahahaha! *lightening* best_papa_everr June 23 2010, 03:01:15 UTC
[Is still a little flabbergasted.]

... There are a number of things I could guess, but I think it'd probably be better for both of us if you tell me what happened, instead.

[He's still looking for stuff to beat up nearby while he talks. Doesn't Russia have a tank?]

Like every goddamn person I know gets droned 'round here! I think some might be permanent. I... fuck, man. They got tha Major Gen'ral too.

[Bashes the picket fence he's standing by for empahsis.[

Not to mention Engie [smash] an' Ellis [smash] an' Margot [smash] an' Lorna [smash] an'--! [Stops, catching his breath.] Goddamnit.

[He smiled sympathetically--Roy and the boys had been recently droned, so he knew the feeling.]

You know, I think the mailman needs that to deliver their mail. How about we go to the bar and have a drink, instead?

...it's only that commie bastard's mailbox anyway.

[Scout takes off his hat and rubs his head. He's got a hell of a headache coming on.]

...Yeah. Sounds like a good idea, pally.

Commie who-now?

[He furrows his brow, smiling.]

I'll pay. Let's get out of here.

[He nodded his chin toward the bar, hands in pockets.]

[He points at Russia's house with his bat.] This guy. Ain't they got commies where youse 'r from? I guess yer lucky.

[Scout will start heading down the street with you.] I'm just... so sick 'a this place an' how it does this ta people at random. Ya misbehave, an' they drone ya. Ya act up, an' they drone ya! What the hell are we supposed ta do?!

Even people who are perfectly behaved seem to get droned.

[He sighs.]

It's frustrating to say the least...

[As they walk, they find themselves at the sidewalk where Hughes, Roy, and Riza had run into Kirby. Geez, that was a dark night--he pauses for a moment to look at the no longer overturned trashcan, wincing.]

...But there are worse things than being droned, for some.

No, but I've died, and it's definitely one of the more damaging experiences in my life! I'd much rather be droned than killed, that's for sure.
