THIRTY-SIX : All hail the leaders of the revolution

[She's taken stock of new dronings. She's counted her losses. She's almost ready to post the tournament bracket. She's met with Prussia and Fritz, and now... Now there's only one thing left to do. She shuffles away the folder marked "Westport", and begins to make the call.]

[Have a Kay knocking on your door, Olivier.]

Come in.

[The living room now more closely resembles a war room: maps, small blocks and shapes, stacks of paper, books, and a multitude of other supplies are suddenly out in the open.]

[Once Kay notices the door is unlocked, she steps into the house, walking into the living room and giving the Major General a friendly wave.]

"Hiya! Guess we're getting things rolling now, huh?"

So it seems. [She glances up.] Did you have questions?

[thief_of_truth]

Well, you've already seen what I can contribute with Little Thief... so does that mean I'd be better for intel or recon? What do those teams do?

[wristsniper]

Recon will be a preliminary force, before the assault.

The intel group will actually be in the most danger of any of us. We'll attempt to infiltrate one of the major strongholds here in order to compare the structure to those in Westport. I'd like to determine if any of the same things are present.

[thief_of_truth]

Hmm... well, Westport's City Hall was destroyed, and that's the only building in Mayfield I have a complete map of. I was inside the library for a little while, but I didn't get a very good look at the place.

[wristsniper]

Fortunately, you weren't the only person making maps. [She shuffles a stack over. City Hall is prominent on top, but below that is the police station, then the school (though incomplete).] Take a look at these.

[Picks up the maps and looks through them.]

"Hey, these are pretty good! I can load these into Little Thief too if you want - though without looking at the actual rooms and what's in them, it'll only be able to make up really basic blank layouts. But it'll still be in three dimensions, at least!"

[wristsniper]

...Do whatever you can. I'm going to try to get someone inside.

[thief_of_truth]

"Okay, I'll do that, then. Which means I should probably go along with whatever team that person is going to be on."

[Starts flipping through the maps, entering data.]

[wristsniper]

You have this entire room at your disposal, and I'll put you in contact with the leader of that team. I haven't spoken with them yet; you'll be the first to know when I have.

Anybody I might know?

It's possible. I have some things to think about, first.

I'm not doing this lightly, you understand. People have to be tried and tested.

Oh yeah, definitely. Gotta make sure it all goes smooth, right?
