Happy belated 4th!
Back from my visit to St. Augustine, the oldest settlement in America. Filled with history and lessons for modern folks. Which did I learn?
1. Parking garages are evil, and must never be reserved for the 4th. Unless you enjoy staying in an enclosed space with 50 running cars.
2. Mango gelato is sweet and the SH1T!!
3. Hush puppies taste weird, and dry.
4. If you want a damn pizza, you'd better book in advance.
5. St. Augustine has the BEST FIREWORK SHOW EVER! It's worth the 20 minute delay it frequently has.
6. They played Final Fantasy music. FREAKING FINAL FANTASY! Amongst all the patriotic American songs!
