Marriage Prospects meme (in the works)
Hey everyone. I'm just trying to work on a new kind of meme. This one involves writing out fake marriage prospects for your favorite anime characters.
Well, I say "new", but this meme actually comes from the very early days of anime fandom. It came from a now defunct site, which hosted all the "prospects" turned in. Several of them were good, most were simple, and some were just hilariously bad. (Like this one for Parm from Record from Lodoss War, that was obviously written by an overly eager fangirl.)
Anyway, this prospect list here is a bit different from the standard list on that site, as some sections were either too simple (example changing the "Cooking" section to the more general "Home Economics"), redundant, or confusing.
Name: Obvious.
Looks: How do they look? It's true first impressions aren't everything, but they can be a big influence.
Personality: A brief summary of their personality. (If they have more than one, list them too.)
Intelligence: Could mean book smarts in one or all areas, or good sense of judgement. Or both.
Economics: Do they have good economic sense? Have they the passion to rise to the top, or are they content to stay where they are?
Do they even have jobs?
Home Economics: Because someone needs to keep the house and laundry clean, and feed the family members.
Competition: Usually means love rivals, but family and (platonic) friends can prove to be bigger obstacles. Or heck, social pressure alone could break the relationship.
In-laws: Would they accept you? Could be merged with Competition if they don't.
Talents/Skills: Basic stuff. List both the natural talents and hard-earned skills the character has. Typically includes the character's powers and fighting skills, but don't be shy to list more mundane stuff like piano-playing.
Sex: How are they in the sack? :p Or how do you think they'd perform? (If you can't ever imagine your character getting it on, feel free to skip.)
Parent Material: What kind of mommy or daddy would they be? Can they even have children, or would they have to adopt? Are they even interested in kids?
Overall: Average it all out.
