I've posted previously about being interested in adopting a pei. Well ! A shelter 3 hours away had a pei that was about to get euthenized. :[ So, I took the journey forth, and brought home "Eddie"
Oh, the poor sweetie! That second picture looks almost exactly like our Jack. I hope he is more or less healthy and can start enjoying his new home soon.
That's a very pretty brown pei you have there! He looks pretty darn good considering! No huge bald patches covering his body, or pus inbetween every wrinkle! He even seems to have a decent weight on him, so things could be worse!
I was thinking the same thing, when we got Jack from a rescue place he was almost 15 pounds underweight and lookin' scruffy. I like the name Rusty, too. =D

I am lucky he gives lots of kissses even though i thought he was neglected and would be bit aloof.
he has testicles/ the shelter is giving me 30 days to get him fixed. I'm a bit worried about them, but at least its something detachable.
I'm also worried about his eyes. I can't really afford that surgery that alot of peis need right no.
Ah well!
Thanks again!
