When will people realise that Tim Burton's Alice is just the Hook of our generation?
Unrelatedly, I finally got around to watching Mulholland Drive. It reminded me of the Halloween episode of My So-Called Life*. In its defence, MD is a million times better when your TV/movie player is connected to high quality hifi equipment and you can appreciate all Angelo Badalamenti's rumbling bass noises. Despite being unnecessarily similar to Blue Velvet, its disturbingness is purely due to sound cues.
I wish people would stop using internet slang. I know this is the internet and all. But I don't communicate that much with people otherwise.
*Actually maybe I mean the Halloween episode of Buffy that was very similar to the Halloween episode of My So-Called Life.
