I like a woman who has variation in her wardrobe

I remember expressing amazement (+ feeling superior) when H said once in Paris that she didn't know whether or not she had ever been in love with someone. I couldn't understand what she was talking about ... for me being in love is deciding: I'm in love + sticking with it, I'm always well-informed.

I read the O'Hagan thing the other day and I was filled with disgust at O'Hagan's smugness, sense of superiority and air of condescension.

Gordon's a keen TV viewer. Doesn't he like Transformers? And Countdown, obviously. (Richard Hoggart, it should be noticed, wasn't sure if it was a good idea teaching the working classes to read.)

Poor Alastair Darling looks like he's about 70 years old.

Hilariously upbeat profile of Brown - one of "your favourite celebrity personalities".

I'll have to speak to you and find out how your HOT DATE went!

My father recently said there was something intangible about ScarJo and my soul died. He also loved Lost in Translation, which further proves that that movie was made for old men who want to date younger women (or who are).

On an unrelated note, let's chat...have I convinced you to visit me yet? I've got a lot of plans. A lot of those plans include drunkenness. Some of them don't, though. For instance, we shan't be riding the Maid of the Mist while drunk, because, I think you'd probably puke. I know how delicate you are. You might puke anyway, and if you do, don't worry, I'll hold your hair back. Or at least find some napkins so you can wipe yourself off.

Ha. I thought you'd have in mind lots of cultural, intellectual pursuits and sites of historical interest. Mormon visitor centre! Kodak museum! Kazoo Museum! Jell-O Museum! Tour of sites from the film Buffalo 66! I think the Niagara Falls + drink could be a bit dangerous. Particularly if there are tightropes or barrels lying around. But I can take rough seas and alcohol, I'm British! I could join the navy if I wanted. But I'm thinking I'll visit, I'll speak to you soon.
