Apologies are boring and they're trite

* Ha, Sarah Silverman
* Nice piece on newspaper journalism from Jonathan Cook
* OMG! How come I've not heard of this film till now? Surely awesomely bad in every way: IncendiaryA beautiful 25-year-old mother (Michelle Williams) lives in a London East End housing project with her bomb-disposal cop husband Lenny (Matthew Macfadyen) and their young son. But tragedy strikes when a terrorist suicide bomb rips through the terraces of a packed Arsenal soccer stadium. The young mother is tormented by guilt - she was with her cocky, Aston Martin-driving tabloid-journalist boyfriend (Ewan McGregor) when her loved ones perished in the explosion. But she gets a chance to exorcise her demons when she stumbles into details of a police cover-up orchestrated by Lenny's former boss. And a budding friendship with the son of a suicide bomber could provide the key to her salvation.
* Sniff. Long Blondes split. Two great albums, and I've seen them twice.

film, blah, comedy
