Woo, I started my Xmas shopping, and I've done more than half of it (though that includes the present for my sister that my stepmum's already got for me, and the fact that I'm giving my brother Amazon gift thingy). I bought myself pizza as a reward. And 2 CDs (one was reduced).
Best thing I heard while shopping: bloke on the phone in Waterstones saying "We've really only got today and tomorrow, because like Christmas is Sunday ... What? Christmas Day is Monday?"
Worst thing I saw. Alex Kapranos, writer of such classic lyrics as "Do ya wanna? Do ya do ya wanna?" and "Michael, you're dancing like a beautiful dance whore", has a book in the food section of Waterstones, his food diary from his travels around the world with Franz Ferdinand. According to the cover, quite a lot of it is about donuts. Seriously.
