I have a girl who discovers she's stuffed with straw, and an undead trickster/fool who shrinks her and then takes her through the spaces between the walls of the world on the back of a weasel to see a cosmic whale, who, in turn, sends the straw girl on a quest to the queen of ice and lightening. There's magic mirrors, a dragon, giant spiders, stitched up people and a bunch of other interesting things pulled from literature and myth. It's a story about love and sadness and the end of the world.
So far it's very violent and dramatic and pretty (at least to me). I'm posting it under my writing filter on lj as I go so if anyone is bored and wants to read along, just friend me and I'll add you to the list of people who can see it.

I'm currently plowing through the end of my work in progress so that I can do the sequel for NaNo, and--what with being a full-time student--things are definitely going slower than I hoped they would. I'm writing fantasy, too! ^..^ I hope you end up doing NaNo, despite being busy. I managed it last year, despite working 30+ hours a week, so it IS possible. ^______^
