I see you're still kicking about. I thought this journal had been long since abandoned.

Did you now. I'm surprised you replied so quickly, then.

Nothing much to do around the office?

Never enough for my tastes, though I have other things occupying my time of late.

I haven't purged my journal, which is why your entry showed up. My luck, I suppose, I'd completely forgotten how close Engarde's parole actually was. I'd have been disappointed if I'd missed the fun entirely.

Seems like we're holding a celebration at the Gust come Saturday. Would you be up for that, or do you already have plans?

...Much as I would like to commit the social faux-pas of toasting the death or imminent death of Schrödinger's parolee, I have a previous engagement. Send the ghoul with the glowing red eyes my regrets as well.

A prior engagement? Am I behind on the news?

Someone has a bit of an ego, assuming I'd be ready to drop everything and join him for drinks at a mere week's notice...

I'm sure you'll find out sooner or later, but Ema is visiting from England, and Lana and I will be taking her out to dinner.

I am behind.

I'm over here having a good time. Just because I'm not keeping up to date on the love life of Miles Edgeworth doesn't mean I'm in exodus.

You were acting as if you were surprised at their continued existence.

Their continued existence? Of course not. This new development between you and Lana? A touch!

'New' is not quite the word for it. The two of us have been spending leisure time with one another for some time now, though I would only have called it seeing one another for the last several months.

Mr. Wright. I resent the implication you're making and suggest that you mind your own business.

This is none of your concern.

Lana! Oh, you were reading too.
