Oh, hey, a package for me... [Phoenix starts walking to Maya's house and he decides to open it... and in the middle of the street, he finds that the pink sweater Iris made for him in college was inside it. Oh dear lord what was that doing here. He quickly boxed it back up and started walking a liiiiittle faster towards the house. The last thing he needed was for people to see it, especially if they didn't know him. Was he embarrassed he owned it? No, of course not, but... without knowing the story, everyone would probably think really weird things about him. Or they might make fun of Iris.
