Seen enough badgers for a while
Finally got back from Gatewater Land with Maya and Pearl. I promised I'd take them back after the fiasco of last month; we'd expected to find some police-themed merchandise at a Blue Badger park, but not a full murder investigation! I've been to a lot of crime scenes in my day but even I've never seen so many cops around. I took the girls for a boat ride and by the time we landed we were escorted off the premises by a small army.
I thought one of them mentioned Edgeworth - were you there? I was kind of hoping you'd need a hand, but then, it was supposed to be a get-away for the three of us. It's probably best we left when we did (though I still want to hear how it went).
Anyway, I'd like to say our trip today was more peaceful, but we lapped the whole park three or four times, played just about every game, rode the roller coaster until I almost lost my lunch, and even managed to finish the photo rally. We got a pretty nice Badger plush, which Pearl took home. I'm glad she had a good time; I think the distraction did her some good.
Oops, and speaking of which they're yelling at me from the other room. Sounds like there may have been an incident with the root beer... Wish me luck.
