I cried a little, but not as much as I thought I would. We still have a long road ahead of us. He has a huge job, and he knows it. Still, I would have liked to have seen him a little more excited in that speech. Have a beer, Obama! You have four more years to be sober.
His speech tonight was aimed at the folks who did not vote for him and I think that was quite smart on his part. If he had been too celebratory it would have turned those folks off even more. He has immediately started working on repairing the damage of the last 8 years - bringing folks together. I was moved.
That said, I'm sure he's doing some serious partying now. ;-)
