Teaser: "Don't," Angel begged, lifting up his childe's head as he held him, but realized that the words were already completely useless. He trembled as he began to gather up his childe's cold body, absently disconnecting the last few wires that were taped to him. Angel wrapped him up in the sheet as a crude attempt to keep him warm. He had to keep him warm, because he was so badly wounded… so injured that he seemed as if dead. He only seemed as if he were dead.
