The Promise You Made
You said we would always be friends
No matter what you would be there
However where are you now
Gone that is where you are
Back to the one
Leaving me all alone
You said you cared and i thought you did
I almost gave it up to you
Glad i didnt, glad i waited
You took my hope and my heart
I knew it couldnt happen
I didnt want it to
But the hope was nice
Not to mention the dreams which followed
All gone now, you crushed them all
Less then a month since it all and you are gone
I thought it couldnt be true
I shared everything wanting nothing
But for you to care
And you did for a while
In a bliss I was living
Having someone care for you
Is the greatest gift of life
You are gone now, though
Tossing me aside

Making another with your lover
