Impossible Gears - I will probably keep this one open until Donovan visits again, 'cause we always joke about the Reese's commercial that the "gear" is actually broken and will stop turning when the other one reaches the bite. Well. Less of a joke, more of an "observation that makes him giggle," but still.
Liquid Radio - Jets of seawater function as temporary antennae. AWESOMESAUCE. Both incredibly useful and, as the blogger points out, with a lot of potential for hackery, even if only in spy movies and [insert descriptor here]-punk novels.
Daniel Radcliffe in "The Woman in Black" - UHM. Period dress plus classic "Hammer Horror" creepiness, yes plz.

Jeffrey Combs in Nevermore - Dude, if I lived on the far coast I would SO BE GOING TO THIS. My adoration for Mr. Combs started with his roles in Lovecraft adaptions (some good, some REALLY, REALLY CRAP) and just, Combs. Poe. With bells on, I'm sayin'.
Abandoned skyscrapers - Well... because I think big, abandoned spaces are cool.
