I am all Orientated now!
Greg and I went up to the school last night and met Donovan's
kindergarten teacher... who is due the first week of September, so we
met her long-term substitute, too *laughs* Both very nice, and the
classroom looks great and wow, kindergarten has changed a lot
in the last *cough* thirty-odd years. I remember being bored off my
tush because I was already reading well at that age, but apart from
being scarily advanced in math skills I think Donovan will have plenty
to learn here.
But then... well, the Pledge of Allegiance is on the wall, right?
Nothing unusual there, except right next to it -- and we did
not have this when I was in school, I'm not sure when it
started -- is the Pledge to the Texas Flag.
