Is this really an issue with people? I mean... I had a little heart-clutch moment, yeah, but that was all about roles and respect and Good Son and, people think that was wrong?

Listen, even if John Winchester wasn't military, and Sam hadn't been throwing "orders" around last ep like it was a dirty word, Kansas is sorta smack-dab in the middle of the country but so much else about the boys is South, and let me tell you, down here most kids are still taught to Sir and Ma'am. ... not that you could tell it by me, and not that it seems to be sticking in my wee son's head at all, but. It's a thing.

Hell, I had Dean yes-sirring his boss in my AU and nobody batted an eyelash. Now all of a sudden it means John's a rotten daddy? The hell?

(Possibly, this will make no sense to any of you at all because I'm not seeing it directly on my flist, but it's out there and I felt the need to openly boggle. *boggles openly*)

I need a Daddy Winchester icon like whoa.
