Singing, Snow, and the car

I have discovered a new joy of solo-driving. I now have somewhere to sing at the top of my lungs. In the house there's always someone else home, and the volume needs to be obscenely high to induce this singing volume. In the car it doesn't need to be anywhere near as loud.

In other news, the next snow storm has just begun in the last 5 minutes.

Ah. I've been wondering when it was coming, since it's still sunny with nary a flurry in sight here, a few blocks off the lake. I guess it will be here soon enough.

The singing-in-the-car thing? That's the downside of my carpool arrangement; I doubt Bob wants to listen to me warble along, all off-key. ;-)

I *love* singing in the car. I have to be careful in the summer with the windows down :) But yes, definitely an advantage.

I looooooove singing in the car. I'll be driving to/from western Illinois in a couple of weeks and plan on singing the whole way and maybe learning some new songs!

Over Thanksgiving I taught my dad how to rip/burn CDs on his laptop. He wanted to make a copy of the Biennial music CD. It didn't occur to me until later that he isn't even going this year. Hmmm...Dad has an actual interest in new Jewish music...I think a Hannukah present idea is materializing! www.JewishMusic.com anyone?

You know, I have a spare Biennial CD that your dad can have if he wants. Drew and I each got one, and all Drew needs is his iPod.

Soundswrite.com is my favorite source, but I haven't looked around too much.
