Hi Wren, those two pics are amazing, it's such a sad & cruel world we live in sometimes.

I think people just don't get the size of all the destruction, or how long & how much it's going to cost to fix it.

Australia always sends aid overseas, lets hope that they now in return help us.

I think I've cried a bucketful this week, hope your well, love jx

Yes, and now Victoria is experiencing its worst ever flooding. Campaspie has been completely inundated. Ditto with Rochester. And water is still rising in many areas. Truly ironic, given that we've just moved out of over 10 years of drought.

I'm fine, just kind of shell-shocked and bewildered not knowing how to help. Like the rest of the country, I guess.

Eloquent and touching as usual Wren. I feel so sad for those folks trying to get all that awful mud out of their homes it must be heartbreaking. The images of families so shocked and scared awful I loved the images of people trying to save the animals. :)Chris xx

It's horific, isn't it. I feel bad sitting here in NE NSW watching the water cross the border at Gondiwindi, hoping that it lowers a bit before it hits us, then feeling horrible as, hello, poeple have lost their lives and I'm worring about myself.

Here's hoping that others will give back as much as we have given over the years. Australia will survive, I guess, we're tough that way!

Wow. I had no idea of the scope of the damage. We have had flooding and landslides, but my part of the world isn't a fraction of the size you are describing! The fact that it will take the PLANET herself so long to recover, to bring both plants and animals back, is frightening. No amount of money can speed her work.

Yes, Australia is world renowned for her generosity, and I do hope and pray that you will be helped at this time of need. My prayers tonight are with you all.
