Yes. I've been thinking about Flickr. It's probably what I'll do with all the stuff I've put on AOO and places like that.
It's annoying because one advantage of PB was their file naming convention, so it was easy to change and update bulk files. Not so much with Flickr and the like.
It was really annoying because there was no warning. And if you go onto photobucket to try to retrieve the images, they've been replaced by the "pay up or you can't share" image. Given that they want $400 per year to be able to share images, I've had to scour my image files to find the originals.
I've fixed the mood icons and have replaced any photobucket images on some of the fics, but there are quite a few still to go. And that's just LJ. Tackling AOO and other places where I archive my fics ... just doesn't bear thinking about.
Guess it's a good thing that I'm a lady of leisure now so I have some time to do this stuff.
